MEET YOUR MENTOR

ABout MARIA

Maria is an award-winning Los Angeles-based actor, filmmaker, and director whose performing journey began at age four with the School of Performing Arts in Malta. Since then, she has built extensive international experience across stage and screen, with work spanning Malta, Scotland, Japan, and Los Angeles.

As the co-founder of DIFYRENT, an award-winning film and television production company, Maria has written, directed, and starred in acclaimed short films and series featuring internationally recognized talent. Her latest short film, I Wish I Never Existed, is currently touring international festivals.

Her work has earned widespread recognition and has since become the first Maltese student accepted into the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio’s prestigious 2.5-Year Conservatory in Los Angeles, where she continues to develop her craft as both an actor and director.
